Spinning Fibre Samples

Well I have just completed an interesting little project of spinning pure fibre samples (20 in total). This was proved to be a fascinating thing to do with relatively small amounts of the fibre around 10 - 20 grams.

The following Pictures will show a sample of fibre, single, plied yarn and a knitted square with a crocheted border.
A = Cotton
B = Ingeo - Corn
C = Nylon
D = Plastic
E = Ramie (Japanese Nettle)
F = Shetland
G = Wensleydale
H = Seacell
I = Milk Protein
J = Flax
K = Bamboo
L = Alpaca
M = Jacob
N = Possum
O = Yak
P = Soya
Q = Camel
R = Kid Mohair
S = Banana
T = Silk
